Installing Windows 7 Beta 7000 to a Compaq Deskpro made for Windows 95 It has a 450 MHz Pentium 2, 576MB RAM, 8.4 GB HDD, ATI 3D Rage Pro AGP graphics with 4MB SGRAM. Windows 7 reqiurments have a 1000 MHz processor and 1024MB of RAM, I would like a graphics card used with Aero, but Compaq had a different video card slot that most cards do not fit in.

The new, free and open source Ubuntu Linux Karmic Try 9:10. Its amazing desktop effects is much higher than that for Windows 7 .. This is part 1 of the 20 minutes recorded from Ubuntu desktop session on my Compaq Presario notebook. Those who are already used to have older versions of Ubuntu can ignore this video, as I have tried nothing new ..
