This is the first step towards the maintenance, addition or removal of PC hardware from your PC. Refer to my other article on adding, removing, or upgading almost every piece of hardware.
First things first, get this case from your PC. This is usually done by removing the screws on the back. Not remove the ones near your power supply! This power will lead to fall out. You just keep removing the screws on the sides that seem to be the case in the framework. As a rule, is about6-9 screws. This will both sides. If you only aim at the elimination of a page (sometimes this is best because you need service on only one side), then remove the three screws on one side on. (For clone PCs. For IBM / Compaq see below). Once you have the screws then either one side or both sides to push the sides out on the front (the side where the power is key).
